Credit Counselor Position

As a CREDIT COUNSELOR, you are responsible for taking inbound calls from potential clients who are experiencing financial. You will conduct a review of the client’s outstanding debt and the options available in order to accelerate and complete the repayment of those balances through a Debt Solutions Program.

This position requires the ability to multi-task and meet required monthly performance goals while helping customers reduce/eliminate their debt.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & KEY COMPETENCIES:
· High School diploma or equivalent
· 2 years in a phones sales environment
· Background in sales, finance, consumer credit/counseling, banking, mortgage or related field
· Proficient in computer window-based programs with excellent navigational skills
· Excellent communication skills and strong sales orientation
· Ability to deliver caring and attentive, knowledgeable, confident, helpful, and prompt phone service
· Ability to manage priorities in high workload (call center) environment
· Open-minded, approachable attitude and open to feedback
· Positive "can do" attitude and a desire to exceed expectations

Candidates must be comfortable in a warm lead environment and be aggressive in selling, presenting and closing deals over the phone
